The striker is on the verge of completing a high-profile move to the Club World Cup finalists.
Boca Juniors star Pablo Mouche admitted that he would be delighted to join Brazilian outfit Santos next season. The pacy winger has recently been linked with a move to the side from the Vila Belmiro as they intend to rebuild after their catastrophic defeat to Barcelona in the final of the Club World Cup earlier in December.

"I would love to. It would be a nice step, a step forward in my career. If it is good for the club and for me, this possibility, I would go delighted," Mouche said to La Red.

"It is a high-quality competition [the Brazilian Serie A], where excellent players have emerged from, who have gone on to Europe, and have returned as extraordinary players and of sublime caliber, like Ronaldinho. Neymar is there as well. They play a style of soccer which I love," added the enthusiastic striker.

Mouche, who played an important role as Boca won the Argentine championship for the first time in three years, has great possibilities of emigrating to Brazil, but if by any reason negotiations break down he clarified that he would still be happy to remain at Boca: "If I stay, I'm in the best team in Argentina, making both options good ones."

Since arriving at Boca Juniors in 2006, the 24-year-old has won five titles. Despite being comfortable at Argentina's most popular club, Mouche stated that a "career is short," and for that reason one must make the most of every opportunity that presents itself.

Mouche is likely to join Santos by the end of the year, and if he does pen a deal with the club he will be hoping to earn a starting eleven position alongside Barcelona and Real Madrid target Neymar.
