Spain seemed to have everything going for them in their clash against Sweden...but they did not have a proper striker to help them win the match.
Today, Alvaro Morata proved once again why he has not been considered as a reliable striker in his entire career, as he dropped the ball in three different chances to score the opening goal for La Roja. The fact that coach Luis Enrique decided to sub him off the pitch speaks volumes of Morata's woeful performance, and even then, the former champions failed to find the back of the net against the Blagult.
One of Morata's chances came during the first half of the game, and the way in which he bottled the chance gave those watching a chance to criticize the striker. Have a look at why most football fans were baffled by his poor skills in front of goal (Image might be geo-restricted).

This was not the only miss by the former Real Madrid footballer, but it surely was once that will not be forgotten.

After two more misses, Luis Enrique decided to take Morata off the pitch, but fans and experts did not hold back with the trolling. Scroll down to see what they had to say about Morata's baffling performance.
A team like Spain not having a better striker with them than Morata is shameful. He's a great example of the mediocrity that you can get away with when you're tall.
