All bets will be off in Group B of the European competition, with one of the title contenders being involved in the battle for the top spot.

The 2020 UEFA Euro will finally kick off on Friday, and teams from all over the continent will try to steal the crown away from the 2016 winners, Portugal.

The competition will see some of the top talents in Europe trying to lead their countries to glory, and all those involved in Group B will not be any different. In this bracket, two former champions, one of the most talented teams in the world, and a debutant side will fight for two -or maybe three- spots in the KO round, and with such a configuration, we can only expect some interesting games to watch in Group B.

Which teams are involved in Group B?

Denmark - The Danish side return to the UEFA Euro stage after missing out on the 2016 edition. With Kasper Schmeichel and Christian Eriksen leading the way, it will be interesting to see how the Danish side tries to go all the way just as they did in 1992, when they entered the competition to fill the void left by Yugoslavia and ended up taking the title home.

Russia - The winners of the first UEFA Euro have struggled to reach the KO stages in recent years, with three of their last four performances ending in the group stage. Led by coach Stanislav Chercheshov, the Russian side will try to show the world that their good performance in the 2018 FIFA World Cup was not a lucky break, especially since some of these players could very well represent their country for the final time in an international event.

Belgium - The Red Devils will enter the tournament having to carry the burden of being considered one of the title contenders. Roberto Martínez's men have always shown an interesting brand of football, and with players such as Romelu Lukaku and Eden Hazard, the Belgian side will be a force to be reckoned with when they take the pitch in the European tournament.

Finland - The Huuhkajat will make their debut in such a tournament this year, and while Markku Kanerva's team cannot be considered as one of the favorites, players such as Teemu Pukki and Joel Pohjanpalo may give fans a reason to believe in their chances.

Which cities will host Group B?

As you may know, the UEFA Euro 2020 will not be played in only one country. For this edition, there will be eleven host nations, and each group will be played in two different countries. Regarding Group B, the host cities will be Copenhagen and Saint-Petersburg, which means that Denmark and Russia could have a slight home-field advantage.

Group B prediction

While Denmark and Russia will host these group's games, it would be wild to consider them as favorites over Belgium, who seem ready to win the group. Denmark and Russia will probably end up fighting for the runners-up spot, and Finland seems set to return home after three games.

1. Belgium

2. Denmark
