It has not been an easy start of the season for some of Barcelona's players, and one of them is seemingly ready to seek for other employment opportunities.
Earlier in the summer, coach Xavi Hernández spoke clearly to some of his players, stating to them they needed to ask their agents to negotiate their future with other clubs. One of them tried to convince the legendary midfielder to give him another chance, but recent reports hint that he has given up on that task and has agreed to end his tenure with Els Culers.
The man in question is none other than Ansu Fati, who has already urged those close to him to find him a new club. The player has been linked to several Premier League clubs, and even though a team from La Liga has already shown interest in his services, the footballer has dismissed that offer with his mind set on leaving Spain.
According to Diario As, the team from La Liga Ansu Fati snubbed is Atlético Madrid. Apparently, the club showed interest in his services earlier in the summer, but their decision not to push for his transfer saw Fati asking his agents to keep away from any offers from Los Colchoneros.
The striker has played over 100 games with the Blaugrana side, scoring 29 goals after four years with the team. Nonetheless, the 20-year-old wants to keep developing as one of the best players in the world, and he believes he will be able to do that away from the team that gave him his first professional contract.
