The general feeling is that the Red Devils should be able to complete the signing of the Borussia Dortmund sensation.

Manchesterd United have restarted talks to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortumnd this summer, a new report has revealed. The Red Devlls are said to be pushing hard for a transfer in the coming weeks with all parties involved in the negotiations 'cautiously optimistic' about it being finalised.

Sancho was close to joining Manchester United last summer but saw the move collapse after Dortmund rejected the Red Devils's offer a few days before the window closed. Despite the 21-year-old winger agreeing personal terms with the Premier League outfit, the Bundesliga club held onto him for one more season on the basis that his suitors failed to meet their $153M valuation. The collapsed deal resulted in the Old Trafford club discarding the idea of signing a right winger and rather completing a move for Edinson Cavani who inherited the No. 7 shirt reserved for the English starlet.

With the summer transfer window just around the corner, the Sancho to Man United transfer claims are back on the table. The latest report suggests that the attacker's entourage and the Red Devils are in negotiations to tie him down on a five-year deal. While no official bid has been tabled to Dortmund, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side will reportedly save $37.5M after the one year delay. Sky Sport have also reported that the talks that are currently ongoing are centred around the overall fee Die BVB want and United's structure of payments.

Sancho is currently in England camp preparing for the European championship next week. The Three Lions will rely on him deliver as usual after the 21-year-old registered 16 goals and 21 assists from 38 appearances for Dortmund in the just ended season.
