The Spanish coach believes that the team will need sort of a rebuilding after losing the UEFA CL final last Saturday, and these players have been deemed surplus to his requirements.

Manchester City's defeat against Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League final has made Pep Guardiola think about the reinforcements his team may need to win the coveted price, and he has reportedly named three players that will not continue playing for the team beyond this summer.

According to a report by The Telegraph, the Spanish boss knows that his club will need to boost its squad by adding more talent, but given the Financial Fair Play restrictions on all European clubs, in order to buy players he will need to let others go. Hence, the first names to be offered for a transfer away from the club are Raheem Sterling, Riyad Mahrez, and Bernardo Silva.

The publication states that Mahrez and Sterling had been notified prior to the UEFA Champions League final that they would be let go by the Cityzens once the season came to an end. Nevertheless, Bernardo Silva's addition to this list comes as quite a shock to some since he has enjoyed some of his best years under Guardiola.

The Telegraph's article also suggests that Silva may be heading to La Liga, where Real Madrid and Atlético have shown interest to hire him in the past. As for Mahrez and Sterling, their futures are still uncertain due to the inconsistent form they showed this season at Etihad Stadium.
