The German midfielder is also waiting on the sidelines to have his contract extension revealed by the club, which could take place in coming days.

The end of the season is a week away in Spain, and the future of some of Real Madrid's players is still up in the air. Earlier today, rumors about Karim Benzema made headlines across Europe, and Toni Kroos added fuel to the fire with his latest words on some of his other teammates.

Speaking to media outlet Real Total, the German midfielder did not hold back on some of the transfer rumors surrounding Dani Ceballos, Nacho, and Marco Asensio, and much to his dismay, the footballer admitted that things are not looking good for those who want these footballers to extend their stays with Los Blancos.

The first one to come up in the conversation was Asensio, who could part ways with Los Merengues by the end of the season.

"It's hard to say what will happen with Nacho, Asensio, and Ceballos. We don't speak to much about it, but I have the feeling that he will not stay, even if that notion comes more from external reports than from any inside information," Kroos stated.

Then, the 2014 World Cup winner with Germany spoke of Nacho and Dani Ceballos, sharing praises on both but specially on his partner in midfield.

"As for Nacho and Ceballos, no real idea, but I have a hunch. I'd love to see them staying. You really don't need to speak a lot with Nacho to understand his worth, and regarding Dani, he is playing really well. He has played more games in past months than those he played in previous years, he gives us something different. But right now I don't know what will happen," Kroos added.

Then, the midfielder spoke about his immediate future, which he jokingly referred to before the interview concluded.

"I have to ask the club about that. I want to know when my extension will be revealed, because I have to go on vacation at some point!" Kroos added.

The German footballer is expected to sign a one-year deal with Los Blancos, although this decision might be announced once the season has come to an end, just like the details on any deals with the other footballers mentioned in this conversation by the Spanish giants' midfielder.
