Pep Guardiola's date with destiny was marked for June 10, and the Spaniard did not disappoint by steering Manchester City to their second UEFA Champions League final under his belt, this time against Inter Milan.
The former Barcelona boss will have a chance to win his third continental crown, but before that game starts, the English club found a way to make history against the most laureated team in UEFA Champions League.
It was a day that will not be forgotten soon by Manchester City fans, as they pummeled a team that had shockingly eliminated them in last year's semis in a matter of minutes. To make matters even better for the English club, they accomplished something only another Premier League club had done to Los Merengues in the UEFA Champions League era.

If you thought that it was payback only for Manchester City, how about this new milestone by Pep Guardiola?
Pep Guardiola is the first manager in European Cup / Champions League history to knock Real Madrid out of the competition in three different seasons.

Manchester City will now go on to face Inter Milan in this year's Champions League final, where they will be looking to win their first-ever title in this competition.
