The Spanish boss was left unamused when the Norwegian striker declined to take a penalty against Leeds United.

He may be the all-time top scorer in the Premier League, but when you're working under Pep Guardiola, you have to follow his instructions with no questions asked.

Manchester City's boss Pep Guardiola surprised the world by criticizing Erling Haaland's decision to hand a penalty kick to Ilkay Gündogan. While the gesture may seem proper since the German was looking for a hat-trick, the result of his gesture was not what anyone expected, as Gündogan failed to score the spot kick and caused Guardiola's anger.

Apparently, Guardiola wanted Haaland to take all penalties in the game against Leeds, but the Norwegian's decision and its outcome forced Guardiola's reaction, which included a rant right there on the sidelines while he yelled at Haaland.

The Spanish coach kept on yelling "you have to take it. Erling, you have to take it,"

To much of Guardiola's dismay, Leeds United pulled one goal back to make things tighter before the end. Guardiola then reacted by taking Ilkay Gündogan off, and to add more controversy to this issue, he stepped away from the German to avoid shaking his hand, which shows just how passionate the coach can be when his orders are not followed.
