If there were any doubts regarding Erling Haaland's fitness, the player himself was able to put an end to all speculation with his performance against Southampton.

The Premier League's top scorer extended his lead at the top of the charts with a brace in his return to action after a couple of games away from the pitch, and he did it in spectacular fashion to reach 30 goals in his first Premier League season.

Haaland opened up the scoring with a header just when the first half was about to end. Nevertheless, his masterpiece came in the second half, when he bagged his second of the day with a massive overhead volley.

The Norwegian ace was found all alone inside the box by Jack Grealish after a fast break, and even if the ball was high enough to hit it with his head, he chose to finish it off with a stunning left-footed shot.
