The Norwegian footballer has been left out of the team's recent games, prompting concerns by fans ahead of their upcoming matches.

Erling Haaland's fitness has been one of the main talking points for Manchester City during the past few weeks, but finally there have been some good news for the team's fans, courtesy of Pep Guardiola.

The Spanish tactician referred to his player's availability for the team's next games, and it seems that Haaland will be returning to the pitch this weekend to earn game time before their crucial Champions League clash against Bayern next Tuesday.

"He completed training during the past two days, he did really good. He is ready for tomorrow's match," Guardiola said about the Premier League's top scorer.

The former Bayern and Barcelona coach went on to discuss how hard the game against Southampton could be, even if they are ranked 20th in the league and his side is fighting for the title.

"Every game has its own characteristic and you have to be ready. Southampton have always been so tough there, the game we made it to 100 points they were much better than us, we've drawn before. It's tough and I have a feeling tomorrow won't be an exception," Guardiola added.

Before the press conference concluded, Guardiola ruled out he intends to rest any players ahead of their clash against Bayern.

"The last thing on our minds is Bayern München. We are facing Southampton in a league game. Premier League takes place every day and every week," Guardiola concluded.
