The former Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea boss had a great start with his new team after picking up a three-goal lead in the first half.

Bayern fans had reasons to believe that Thomas Tuchel's appointment was going to bring them some great moments, and the coach did not disappoint with his first win and display with the Bavarian side in the most important game for the club in the Bundesliga.

The German tactician made his presence felt with some bold tactics, which gave his side a comfortable lead in the first half hour, thanks to a brace by Thomas Müller and a massive mistake by goalkeeper Gregor Kobel. That display by his team not only made things easier for Die Roten in the second half (where they would score one more goal and have another one disallowed), it also came with a record for the newly-appointed boss.

Thomas Tuchel has entered Bayern's record books not only in his first game, in his first 30 minutes as boss, as he managed to earn a piece of history no other boss in this team's records had accomplished.

Tuchel earned his third win against Borussia Dortmund after 13 games against them, and while he may have mixed feelings about beating his former team, he will surely be glad to have won his first game with a new club.
