The Reds were unable to score a single goal at the Bernabeu to try and turn the tie around, making fans desperate about their inability to defeat the Spaniards.

It has never been easy for Liverpool to defeat Real Madrid, and while their latest matches against Los Blancos have proven to be quite disappointing, none of them have been as frustrating as the two Round of 16 matches their fans recently endured.

The team led by Jürgen Klopp needed three goals to level the tie against Real Madrid after their 5-2 defeat at Anfield, and not only did the Reds fail to score three, they were never as dominant as they needed to be if they wanted to make a difference in this tie.

To make matters worse, the English side has seen their hoodoo against Los Blancos extending with these two games, which have added to some unfortunate results in the international competition.

To make things even more complicated for the Premier League outfit, their last three exits from the UEFA Champions League have come at the hands of the 14-time winners in the competition.

Whether it is against Vinicius (like last year) or Benzema (like today), it seem that Liverpool really need to change their tactics against Real Madrid if they really want to change the way things have gone for them when facing Los Merengues.
