The Red Devils are reportedly ready to break the bank in order to secure the service of the striker.

Manchester United are set to launch a club-record move to sign Frankfurt star Randal Kolo Muani, latest report from Germany has revealed. Erik ten Hag side are said to be readying themselves to beat off competition from other potential suitors by tabling an offer in the excess of $120M to acquire the service of the French striker.

The Red Devils are gradually returning to their old self under the guidance of Ten Hag and have shown massive improvement with their performances this season. The club has already won the Carabao Cup, and are in contention to clinch the FA Cup, the Europa League, and a top four place in the Premier League. Although they currently boast the most wins across Europe's top-five leagues, they have largely relied on the goals in-form striker Marcus Rashford to fuel their charge, with the Englishman scoring 26 goals in 42 appearances across all competitions.

Ahead of the summer transfer window, Manchester United have been tipped to strengthen their frontline with the signing of a new striker. Napoli's Victor Oshimen is rated highly within the club and is said to be the Red Devils' primary target while Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane and Frankfurt's Kolo Muani have also been linked with a move to Old Trafford. At the moment, it still remains unclear which of the trio might end up in Manchester, but a report from German that emerged on Wednesday has sparked speculations.

According to BILD, United are ready to sign Kolo Muani for a club record fee of $120M at the end of the season. The 25-year-old French striker has scored 16 times for Frankfurt this season, and has drawn interest from top European clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, after his remarkable performance for France at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
