Liverpool beat Manchester United 7-0 in a match watched on USA Network by nearly one million people. However, that wasn't the only game that garnered impressive viewership numbers last week.

The viewership numbers for soccer matches aired in the USA between February 27 and March 5 are in, and to no one's surprise, Liga MX claimed two of the top spots. However, the no.1 slot did not go to the Mexican top flight. Instead, it was the Premier League that earned the title of the most-watched game last week.

The podium was seized by — surprise, surprise — the Liverpool vs Manchester United showdown on Sunday. Just under one million people tuned in to USA Network's broadcast as Salah and Co. marched to a historic 7-0 victory, handing the Red Devils their worst-ever defeat in Premier League history.

The Red Devils weren't the only iconic team to suffer heartbreak over the weekend. Club America played hosts to Pachuca on Saturday but Liga MX's most successful side suffered a 3-0 home defeat, with 929,000 fans tuning in to catch this result on Univision.

Wrapping things up is Guadalajara's showdown with Santos Laguna. Chivas triumphed 2-0 to keep up pace with leaders Monterrey and Tigres UANL thanks to goals from Guzman and Beltran. However, this tie was aired on Telemundo, with over 700,00 viewers catching the action.

Here is the full list of games that made this ranking. Only matches with an audience of over 100,000 average viewers are listed.
