Struggling Bournemouth could be in for a long afternoon when Liverpool come to town on Saturday, March 11th.

Relegation-threatened Bournemouth could face a tough day at the office on Saturday as they prepare to host Liverpool. Unfortunately for the Cherries, they were unable to hang onto a two goal advantage against Arsenal and ended up losing that tie 3-2, meaning that Gary O'Neil's side still sit bottom of the table, with just one win in their last five matches and are going to welcome an opponent who crushed them 9-0 in the reverse fixture back in August.

Still, it's not all over for Bournemouth just yet. With 21 points, the Cherries are just one point behind 17th-placed Leeds, meaning that if they can pick up some much needed points over the next two months, they just may be able to avoid the drop. Against Liverpool, however, that appears to be a highly unlikely proposition. Jurgen Klopp's men arrive at the Vitality Stadium having crushed Manchester United 7-0 that saw Mohamed Salah become the Reds' all-time top goal-scorer, while new signings Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo grabbed braces each before Roberto Firmino put the icing on the cake with the seventh goal.

The victory for Liverpool puts them in good standing to fully challenge for a top four spot, as they are only three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham and have a game in hand. It's set to be a very busy week ahead for Liverpool, who will somehow need to overturn a 5-2 first leg loss to Real Madrid when they travel to Los Blancos' home ground next week, but for now, they will be firmly focused on picking up what should be a straightforward three points on Saturday against a team that they have defeated in their last seven meetings in the Premier League.

However, David Brooks, Junior Stanislas, and Matias Vina are all definite absentees.

Liverpool: Both Joe Gomez and Naby Keita are still battling their way back to full fitness after overcoming muscular issues, and may get some minutes as they are not expected to start during Liverpool's upcoming match against Real Madrid should they pass a fitness test.
