The English footballer came off the bench to lead the Gunners' efforts to claim points against Bournemouth, keeping Arteta's men away from Manchester City.

Arsenal needed to win their match following Manchester City's early win, and while they managed to do just that, that victory did not come without a little suffering.

The Gunners had conceded twice against Bournemouth before the 60th minute mark, showing glimpses of some of their worst performances in the season. Luckily for them, two goals in nine minutes gave them hope to salvage at least a point in this clash...but the best was yet to come for Mikel Arteta's men.

Just like in their win against Aston Villa a couple of weeks back, the Gunners pulled off a miraculous comeback in stoppage time, and they have to thank Reiss Nelson for it. The English player, who had already contributed with an assist for the Gunners' second goal, found himself all alone inside the Cherries' box and with the ball on his feet. After a quick dribble, Nelson fired a rocket past Neto's hand and into the back of the net, making Arsenal fans go berserk at the Emirates.

Nelson had not been able to score a goal in 2023, as he had been slowed down by injuries since December. Even so, the footballer has given fans a reason to believe in his skills, while also giving Arsenal's hierarchy something to think about with his contract set to be over in June.
