The Norwegian ace picked up a knock during Sunday's match against Aston Villa that may keep him off the pitch against Arsenal.

Erling Haaland has enjoyed quite a season at Manchester City, but his presence in a key game against Arsenal is yet to be confirmed by the club or his coach.

The player left the clash against Aston Villa following a clash against goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez, which prompted Pep Guardiola to sub him off during the halftime break. Guardiola admitted that the Norwegian ace would undergo tests, but he refused to confirm if he would be available for Wednesday's big clash.

"Right now I don't know. We will have to see over the next few days. He got a knock and was uncomfortable so at 3-0 up we didn't want to take the risk. We will assess him and if he's not ready we will play someone else. Hopefully he is ready," Guardiola said after the match.

Earlier today, Manchester City posted a picture of Haaland during the team's training session, and while that may seem as good news for the Cityzens, Haaland was only allowed to participate in the recovery session, meaning he did not train in full for Wednesday's game.

Haaland has scored 25 goals in 21 Premier League games, and his absence from Wednesday's game could give Guardiola a major headache ahead of a crucial clash in the race to win the EPL title.
