The Argentine maestro set up the Portuguese attacker for his first goal in a Chelsea shirt with an outstanding pass.

Chelsea kicked off Matchweek 23 with Saturday's early trip to West Ham, with the Blues looking to bounce back from their terrible form.

And much to Graham Potter's joy, the two-time UEFA Champions League-winning club got off to a great start against the Hammers.

The visitors put the home side under tremendous pressure for the first 30 minutes and twice had a goal ruled out for offside, with Kai Havertz finding the back of the net on both instances. However, in the 16th minute, Chelsea got the lead they deserved.

And to top things off, two of the club's January signings combined brilliantly for the opener. Joao Felix was the man who got on the scoresheet, with the Portuguese talent doing tremendously well to find space in a crowded West Ham penalty box without straying offside to beat Lukasz Fabianski with a lovely finish.

However, this goal would not have been possible if not for an exquisite inch-perfect cross from Enzo Fernandez. The Argentine maestro, who is the most expensive signing in Premier League history, made only his second start and showed once again why Todd Boehly and Co. were willing to break the bank for him.

Unlike Felix who was signed on loan until the end of the season, Enzo is a permanent addition to the Stamford Bridge squad and his outstanding assist for Joao's opener will have Chelsea fans excited for the future. Check out the goal in the clips below (videos are geo-restricted).

Unfortunately for Potter's men, despite dominating the first 30 minutes of the game, they headed into the break level on 1-1. Former Chelsea full-back Emerson Palmieri, who currently plays for West Ham, netted the equalizer for the home side to turn the game on its head.
