Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford has matched Wayne Rooney's record of scoring in six successive Premier League appearances with his goal against Leeds United. The 25-year-old Englishman was on target once more as the Red Devils fought back to secure a point in the night's 2-2 draw at Old Trafford.
Erik ten Hag's side started the night's encounter on a rather poor note, conceding their second-fastest goal in the Premier League through Wilfred Gnonto's strike after 55 seconds. A similiar script played out in the beginning of the second half, with Crysencio Summerville's attempt deflecting off the foot of Raphael Varane past David de Gea to put Leeds two goals ahead in the 48th minute.
Marcus Rashford's had his moment in the 62nd minute, rising high to nod Diogo Dalot's cross past Illan Meslier to cut Leeds advantage to just one. Eight minutes after the goal, his compatriot Jadon Sancho got the equalizer after coming on from the bench to secure a point for the host.
