The Englishman fired himself into an exclusive club with his contribution on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has made landed a handful of Premier League records with his goal against Manchester City on Sunday. The 29-year-old inspired the Lillywhites to an important 1-0 win with his 267th career goal, breaking Jimmy Greaves' record to become the club's all-time top goalscorer in the process.

Spurs entered the encounter in their backyard knowing that any result but a win could dent their top four charge. In the absence of manager Antonio Conte who is set to undergoing surgery to remove his gallbladder after being diagnosed of cholecystitis, the North Londoners delivered the goods against the Premier League's defending champions with just a lone goal.

Following a promising start, Tottenham capitalized on a defensive blunder by Rodri to go in front through Harry Kane in the 15th minute. Watch:

With the goal, Kane broke Jimmy Greaves record as Tottenham Hotspur's all-time top goalscorer which has stood for 57 years. While the latter needed a nine-year spell at Spurs to score 266 goals in 379 games, the former reached his tally in 415 games spanning across 11 years.

Kane's strike against Man City was also his 200th in the Premier League and, as a result, became only the third player to join the 200 club in the Premier League. The Englishman's tally is only topped by compatriots Wayne Rooney (208) and Alan Shearer (260).

Among the trio, he is the quickest to reach a double century of goals as he needed 304 games to hit the milestone. Alan Shearer got into the club in his 306th appearances while Wayne Rooney hit his 200th after 462 outings.
