The Tottenham Hotspur attacker has entered the history books after finishing as the Premier League's top scorer and assist-maker this season.

Tottenham Hotspur superstar Harry Kane had the history books revised after his contribution in the win against Leicester City landed him a number of significant milestones. The 27-year-old England striker scored and assisted a goal apiece as his side run away from the King Power Stadium with a 4-2 victory, earning the Golden Boot and Playmaker awards as a result.

Having restored parity for the visitors with a sensational volley for his 23rd Premier League goal of the season, Kane incidentally climbed to the top of the goalscorers leaderboard that had had Mohamed Salah occupying first position for the most part of the season. He then set-up Gareth Bale to score an all-important third goal for Spurs, taking his assist tally for the season to 14 - two more than the respective contributions of Kevin De Bruyne and Bruno Fernandes.

More significantly, the day's achievement caused Harry Kane to become the first-ever Tottenham player to win three Golden Boots in his career (also won it in 2015-16 and 2016-17). The Englishman also became the third player in Premier League history to finish with the most goals and the most assists in a single season. The last player to have achieved the feat was Andy Cole for Manchester United in 1993/1994.

Kane, who is rumored to be on his way out of Spurs, also joined Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry as the only three players to have won to the Golden Boot on three separate occasions. At the moment, only the latter - with four titles - has more of the individual accolades than the Spurs striker.
