The Parisians are looking to recruit the winger ahead of transfer deadline day.

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly in advanced negotiations to sign Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea. The Ligue 1 giants are in talks with the Premier League club to secure the service of the winger on loan until the end of the season.

Having joined Chelsea from Ajax in 2020, the 29-year-old Moroccan has struggled to impress. He has barely made a mark, scoring just 14 goals despite making close to 100 appearances all competitions for the Stamford Bridge outfit.

Following the arrival of Noni Madueke and Mudryk this month, Ziyech now faces more competition for minutes at Chelsea. Earlier in the transfer window, there was growing optimism that he might join either Newcastle or West Ham United at some point before the transfer window shuts close but both seem unlikely at this point. While interest has cooled in the camp of the latter, the former have already completed the signing of Everton's Anthony Gordon to fill the position.

On Monday, multiple reports from France revealed that Ziyech is a subject of transfer interest for Paris Saint-Germain. A loan move is being discussed between the Parisians and Chelsea and, although an agreement is yet to be found between the clubs, the 29-year-old is said to be keen on a move per a report by L'Équipe. The deal is not expected to include an option-to-buy clause.
