Marcus Rashford added to remarkable goalscoring form with yet another sensational goal on Wednesday night. The 25-year-old forward scored to inspire Manchester United to 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup semi-final first leg encounter.

United headed into the mid-week's game knowing that a a big win will secure their fate ahead of the second leg tie at Old Trafford. Approaching the night's encounter on the back of the heartbreak against Arsenal in the Premier League at Emirates, they had a perfect start with Marcus Rashford stepping up once more.

In the second-half, Wout Weghorst got his first goal for the Red Devils to put the game beyond the reach of Nottingham Forest before Bruno Fernandes secure a three-goal advantage ahead of the second leg with a brilliant finish close to the end of the game.

With the goal, Rashford took his tally in his last 10 appearances in across all competitions for Manchester United to 10. So far, only Manchester City's Erling Haaland (31) has scored more goals than the Mancahester United striker (18) among Premier League players.
