Cristiano is all but destined to leave if the Old Lady miss out on a top-four finish. However, his successor has already been identified.

Juventus are gearing up for the final day of the 2020/21 Serie A season, taking on Bologna in a crucial clash for the Italian giants. The Old Lady, who are fifth in the table heading into matchday 38, are in danger of missing out on the top four, and subsequently, a spot in next season's UEFA Champions League.

Victory over Sunday's opponents would boost their odds of nicking a top-four finish but that might not be enough as they will require a slip-up from third-placed AC Milan, who take on Atalanta, or fourth-placed Napoli, who take on Verona.

Failure to qualify for next season's Champions League would likely be the final nail to the coffin that is Cristiano Ronaldo's stay in Turin. The 36-year-old icon has been linked with an Allianz Stadium exit, having failed to get past the UCL quarter-finals in all of his three seasons in Italy, crashing out against Ajax, Lyon, and most recently Porto.

The Portuguese superstar has another year on his contract but is all but destined to leave should Juventus be playing in the Europa League next season. As a result, the Biaconeri are said to be on the lookout for an attacker that could fill the inevitable void, with one player in particular being on their radar.

That man is none other than Antoine Griezmann, the talented Frenchman who has struggled at the Camp Nou after sealing his mega-money move from Atletico Madrid to Barcelona. Given the Catalan giants major financial trouble, having seen their debt rise to an astounding $1.5BN, Joan Laporta is reportedly looking to sell the 2018 World Cup winner in order to balance the books.

According to La Stampa, Juventus will be front of the line for Griezmann if he is put up for sale, but the Italians aren't the only ones being linked with the Frenchman as a return to Atletico Madrid has also been touted.

Ideally, however, Pirlo's side will want to sneak into the top four. Their fate doesn't simply rest in their hands, unfortunately. If AC Milan and Napoli win their respective games, then the Old Lady will drop into the Europa League regardless of their result against Bologna.
