The Bundesliga is set to go back to action after the extended break caused by the winter and the FIFA World Cup, but teams from this league are still trying to lure talent to their squads, and one of those teams in need to do just that is Borussia Dortmund.
The Black and Yellow finished their run in 2022 with two losses in a row, which had them slip to sixth in the competition prior to the break. While there have been some good news for the team prior to the re-start of the tournament, with Sebastién Haller being reportedly ready to play, the club is trying to add one more striker to their lineup for the rest of the season, and they have set their eyes on a rising talent in the Premier League.
The German side has identified Anthony Elanga as a potential transfer target, and to make things even easier for both teams, the Black and Yellow would tempt the Red Devils with a loan deal. The player is reportedly open to a switch, and Manchester United seem keen on letting the player go to speed up his development process.
This chance to let the player leave the club for six months has also been met with another offer for Elanga, as Everton are trying to lure the footballer to Goodison Park in their attempt to avoid relegation. This option has been reportedly frowned upon by Manchester United's hierarchy, since Everton play in their league and they are not ready to boost one of their rivals even if the Toffees are not involved in the title race.
With that in mind, Elanga may be on his way out of the Premier League side for a short while. As per talkSport, the initial deal would see Elanga moving to the Bundesliga on a six-month loan, but further negotiations could see the deal extended.
