With CR7's arrival, Al Nassr's main opponent is ready to try and sign the Golden Ball winner in the past FIFA World Cup.

Just as if we were getting ready to witness a second chapter of the rivalry between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, another team is willing to put up a massive bid to see "La Pulga" playing in the same league as the Portuguese superstar.

According to a report by Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo, Lionel Messi's camp will be receiving a mammoth offer to see him join Al Hilal, the biggest rivals to Al Nassr, who made worldwide headlines for hiring Cristiano Ronaldo.

The article states that Al Hilal, who are funded by the Saudi State, would be willing to offer Messi a whopping  $300M deal per season, which would rival the kind of cash Cristiano Ronaldo will earn during his stint with Al Nassr.

It is believed that Al Hilal, who have won four AFC Champions League titles and have gone on to play in two FIFA Club World Cup editions, have a legitimate chance of convincing Messi to play for them due to the player's link to Visit Saudi, a fund that promotes tourism to that country across the globe. Moreover, the team is coached by Argentine legend Ramón "Pelado" Díaz, one of the top scorers in Argentine football history.

While there is no clear indication about Messi's intention to accept this bid, the chances of watching the football icon playing against Cristiano Ronaldo sooner than expected have increased after PSG announced a tour to that country, where Les Parisiens will be playing against a team including the best players from Al Hilal and Al Nassr, which will most likely feature Cristiano Ronaldo on January 19.
