This version of France trying to hold on to the World Cup title has been a massive improvement from their previous iteration, and to make it even sweeter for Les Bleus, they have equaled a feat that has now been acomplished by only three teams in history.
The 2018 World Cup winners are now back in the tournament's semi-final stage, where they will be facing Morocco to try and extend their reign for four more years. But even if they don't make it back to the final, France has already made history with their performance in Qatar, where they matched a record held by Argentina and Brazil.

To make things even more interesting, the French side will also share an honor with Croatia, as both sides have joined La Albiceleste and Germany in their efforts to repeat a FIFA World Cup final.
