The 44-year-old singled out Kylian Mbappe and Olivier Giroud as the scorers for his side and named Robert Lewandowski to get the consolation goal for the Poles for the game to end 3-1.

Speaking to Le Parisien on Saturday, President Macron revealed that he has constantly been in touch with head coach Didier Deschamps on a regular basis during the tournament.
