The families of all the players representing USA at the World Cup have sent their well-wishes from back home ahead of their opening game.

All the players representing the United States at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar have received massive votes of confidence ahead of their opening game at the tournament. The families of the 26 stars have sent heartfelt 'good luck' messages to them as they await kick-off for their first group stage game against Wales on Monday.

In the video montage shared on the US Men's Soccer Team's social media platforms, the relatives of the players sent them personalised messages, mostly detailing how proud they were of their accomplishments and how they were looking forward to seeing them shine. The profound gesture comes after President Joe Biden called coach Gregg Berhalter to deliver a special message to the team on Sunday.

The US Men's National Team haven't participated in the World Cup since 2014 after failing to qualify for the 2018 edition in Russia. Despite not being viewed as a strong favorite, the USMNT is thought to have a good chance of at least making it to the knockout round of this year's World Cup in Qatar.
