None of the away teams were able to claim a win. Will we witness a shocking turn of events in all games, or will those who won the first legs prevail?

It is time for the second legs in the Quarterfinal stage of the Mexican top-flight, and fans really have reasons to follow each and everyone of the games.

For the first time in a few seasons, all away teams claimed wins in the first legs. Hence, those teams with a higher seeding will need to step things up and try to beat their rivals at their own stadium and in front of their home crowd, since most venues in Liga MX have been authorized to host fans.

Without further ado, let's have a look at each tie in the order they will be played. The number after each team shows their goals in the first leg.

Puebla (0) vs Atlas (1)

La Franja was not able to keep up with their good form, and now Atlas seem to have the upper hand. Wednesday's result will force Puebla to win the game with the same score Atlas earned, and in the event of conceding a goal, then they will have to earn a two-goal difference to secure their spot in the next round. As for Atlas, any win or draw will see them through to the next round.

Cruz Azul (1) vs Toluca (2)

Los Diablos made the most of two penalty kicks against Cruz Azul, and now their defense will have to keep that up if they want to give Cruz Azul a hard time. As for the league leaders, La Máquina need to beat Toluca in order to keep their hopes alive, and if they end up conceding, they will also need to win the game by a two-goal margin to secure their spot in the semi-finals. Any win or draw will see Toluca through to the next round.

Monterrey (1) vs Santos (2)

Los Rayados kicked back and relaxed while having a one-nil lead, and that ended up backfiring against them, as Santos rallied back to win the game. Now, Santos will need to win or draw the game to see their bitter rivals off the tournament, while Monterrey will need to win the game one-nil or by a two-goal margin if they concede.

América (1) vs Pachuca (3)

Santiago Solari's team will not have it easy to reach the semis, as they need to win two-nil to make it to the next round. If Pachuca scores, then América will be forced to score three times to keep themselves in the title race. Any win or draw, and even a one-nil loss would do the trick for Los Tuzos, who seem to be in the driver's seat in this tie.
