It's been a crazy past few weeks in the Bundesliga. First, Bayern's Hansi Flick announced that he won't be back at the Allianz Arena next season, which apparently angered the Bavarian titans' leadership. Then, recently, Bayern confirmed that they'd secured a replacement, with RB Leizpig's promising young tactician, Julian Naglesmann, set to take over at the start of the upcoming campaign.
Given how well die Roten Bullen have done this season, it's yet another brilliant masterstroke by Bayern, who have a reputation of cherry-picking the best talent from their fellow Bundesliga rivals, and that clearly also extends to hiring their managers.
But now that leaves the burning question: Who's going to manage Leipzig?
Well, according to reports, that answer has already been solved, as well.
American manager Jesse Marsch, who's in charge of Leipzig's sister outfit, Red Bull Salzburg, who play in the Austrian Bundesliga, has apparently been tapped to replace Naglesmann:
BREAKING: Jesse Marsch to become the next head coach of RB Leipzig after a whirlwind 24 hours. Twists & turns in this since the announcement of Julian Nagelsmann's departure for Bayern. At one point, Oliver Glasner appeared to have overtaken Marsch in the pecking order.

Under Marsch's leadership, Salzburg finished first last season and currently are top of the table. Notably, Marsch is the first American tactician to not only win a top-flight European trophy as he's won the Austrian Cup, but also is the first American manager to successfully coach a team in the UEFA Champions League. During the 2019/2020 season, Salzburg featured in the group stages, and although they didn't make it to the round of 16, they were in a quartet alongside Liverpool, Napoli, and Belgian outfit Genk - but they did finish third to drop down into the Europa League.
Marsch's arrival at Leipzig will see him link up with USMNT international Tyler Adams, which will certainly get fans of the Stars and Stripes really excited to see him work with the promising youngster.
Leipzig currently are second in the Bundesliga, and while the title race is seemingly over, die Roten Bullen do have a faint glimmer of hope at forcing the door back open after Bayern suffered a shock 2-1 loss to Mainz last weekend. They're also into the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal, where they'll face Werder Bremen on Friday, April 30th.
