The 2021 Major League Soccer season will kick-start on Friday, with a clash between Sporting KC and Orlando City. Learn how to watch all of the other 12 Matchday 2 games in the USA and around the world.

Sporting KC vs. Orlando City SC on Friday, April 23 at 7:55 p.m. ET

Matchday 2 of MLS will kick off on Friday at 7:55 p.m. ET with Sporting KC hosting Eastern Conference foe Orlando City at Children’s Mercy Park on Friday at 7:55 p.m. ET. FS1 and FOX Deportes will screen the game in the USA.

Sporting Kansas City slipped out of Red Bull Arena in New Jersey with a sharp comeback win against the NW Red Bulls last Saturday. One of the eight teams that won on opening weekend, Sporting KC will look to steal three more points from another Eastern Conference opponent to stay at the top of the Western Conference. 

On the other hand, Orlando City SC endured a hard-fought 0-0 draw against Gabriel Heinze’s Atlanta United at Exploria Stadium last weekend. The Lions will travel West to claim three points in Kansas City on Friday evening. 

San Jose Earthquakes vs. FC Dallas on Saturday, April 24 at 3:50 p.m. ET

The matchday continues Saturday with 11 MLS games, including one between the San Jose Earthquakes and FC Dallas at 3:50 p.m. ET. The match broadcast TUDN and Univision in the USA. You can also catch the game on Twitter in other parts of the world.

San Jose fell to the Houston Dynamo in the opening game of the 2021 MLS season last Friday. The Earthquakes tried to play catch-up after going down 2-0 after 55 minutes of play. Midfielder Paul Marie scored a belter to inspire a late comeback, but league all-time top scorer Chris Wondolowski missed a golden opportunity in the dying minutes of the game to earn his team a point.

FC Dallas will travel to the West Coast after a rigid goalless draw against the Colorado Rapids at Toyota Stadium last Saturday. Despite not scoring, Dallas was aggressive in attack and crafted some good chances in front of goal. At the other end of the pitch, goalkeeper Jimmy Maurer earned a clean sheet after six saves.

Los Angeles FC vs. Seattle Sounders on Saturday, April 24 at 8:08 p.m. ET

Another MLS marquee matchup arrives will take place on Saturday, when Los Angeles FC take on Western Conference rivals the Seattle Sounders at the Banc of California Stadium. Kick off is set for 6:08 p.m. ET and the game will screen on ESPN and ESPN Deportes in the USA.

LAFC manager Bob Bradley is 3-0 in MLS season openers after taking down league newcomer Austin FC at home last Saturday. The Black-and-Gold created 24 chances, hitting the target nine times. Los Angeles will look to replicate its attacking display at home again against a Sounders side that put four goals past Minnesota United.

The Seattle Sounders will arrive at LA hot after a 4-0 win over Minnesota United last weekend. Brazilian midfielder Joao Paulo Mior got things started with an audacious volley from outside the 18-yard-box early in the second half. After that, forward Raul Ruidiaz scored a brace and forward Fredy Montero celebrated his return to Seattle scoring one goal as a substitute.

LA Galaxy vs. New York Red Bulls on Sunday, April 25 at 5:55 p.m. ET

Lastly, the LA Galaxy will host the New York Red Bulls in MLS’s lone game on Sunday at 5:55 p.m. ET. The game will air on FS1 and FOX Deportes in the USA. 

Mexican Striker Javier Hernandez will look to keep scoring goals after bagging in a brace against Inter Miami CF in South Florida last weekend. The Galaxy dominated possession and were clinical in front of goal after trailing twice in the game. The side looked fit and ready for a heavy weight fight against the Red Bulls on Sunday.

The New York Red Bulls will look to avenge a 2-1 loss against Sporting KC in Los Angeles on Sunday. Seventeen-year-old Caden Clark’s volley gave the Red Bulls a lead early in the second half. However, it was not enough to hold off the Western Conference side.
