The UEFA Women’s EURO playoffs will resume and finish on Tuesday, April 13, with three second-leg matchups.

Thirteen teams have qualified to the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022, leaving three vacated spots that need to be filled. Those spots will be filled on Tuesday when three of the six remaining nations that clinched playoffs play their second leg games.

Ukraine, Northern Ireland, Portugal, Russia, Czech Republic and Switzerland are the six nations that are fighting for the three spots left in England 2022. The three playoff winners will join Austria, Belgium, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, holders the Netherlands, Norway, Spain and Sweden in the UEFA Women's EURO 2022 Finals in England.

The Czech Republic 1-1 Switzerland

The Czech Republic hosted Switzerland for the first leg of the matchup at Mestsky Stadion in Chomutov on Friday. The game ended in a one-all draw with both sides converting goals from the penalty spot.

The home team opened the scoring via midfielder Katerina Svitkova’s 49th-minute goal. However, striker Ana-Maria Crnogorcevic scored a 90th-minute equalizer to give Switzerland an important away goal.

The Czech Republic has a tougher task at hand as it looks to qualify for its first-ever EURO. The Czechs will travel to Thun to face Switzerland at Stockhorn Arena in search of a win to secure a spot in England 2022.

Second leg: Tuesday, April 13, at 2 p.m. ET in Switzerland (Stockhorn Arena)

Ukraine 1-2 Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland’s Cinderella story is well alive after a 2-1 away win against Ukraine on Friday. The Northern Irish entered the qualifiers ranked 32nd of the 48 participants. The playoff game on Friday was their first-ever playoff game compared to Ukraine’s previous six playoff games.

Northern Ireland got off to a perfect start with veteran Rachel Furness’ 5th-minute goal. Not long after, midfielder Daryna Apanashchenko headed an equalizer to bring back the game level. But in the 57th minute, Everton’s in-form forward Simone Magill produced the game’s winning goal.

A draw at home would be enough for Northern Ireland to fill one of the three remaining vacated spots for the 2022 Women’s EURO.

Second leg: Tuesday, April 13, at 2:45 p.m. ET in Northern Ireland (Seaview)

Portugal 0-1 Russia

Like Ukraine, Portugal was not able to earn a positive result from its home game. Forward Nelli Korovkina scored the game-winner in the 51st minute, leaving Russia in a good position to reach its sixth final tournament out of the last seven.

Portugal will need to score a couple of goals and keep the Russians from scoring to qualify for consecutive EUROS.

Second leg: Tuesday, April 13, at 10 a.m. ET in Russia (Sapsan Arena)
