La Máquina will want to keep their unbeaten streak going against a struggling Chivas side that has not been able to win a game since February.

One of the most anticipated games of every Liga MX season is the clash between Cruz Azul and Guadalajara, and to keep things as usual, this edition will be one to watch due to the high level of controversy that surrounds this game due to the recent performances by both clubs.

Cruz Azul will enter this clash on an eleven-game winning streak and as the leaders in the Guard1anes 2021 tournament. Juan Reynoso's men are ranked second in the goalscoring department after finding the back of the net 20 times (level with América and one goal behind Toluca), while their defense has only conceded seven goals, which is the best tally for a Liga MX team (level with Monterrey).
