In one of the day’s most shocking info, Bob Bradley has been sacked as the USA’s national team coach.
According to reports, this decision came following an encounter between Bob Bradley, U.S. Soccer CEO Dan Flynn and U.S Soccer president Sunil Gulati at The Home Depot Center. On Thursday, Gulati declared:

“We want to thank Bob Bradley for his service and dedication to U.S. Soccer during the past five years. During his time as the head coach of our Men’s National Team he led the team to a number of accomplishments, but we felt now was the right time for us to make a change.

“It is always hard to make these decisions, especially when it involves someone we respect as much as Bob. We wish him the best in his future endeavors.”

Bob Bradley started coaching the US men soccer team in 2006. He inspired the Americans to success at the 2007 Gold Cup success but suffered final defeats in 2009 and more recently in 2011 as Mexico retained their title.

Bob Bradley also experienced mixed emotions at the 2009 Confederations Cup where Brazil recorded a comeback victory in the final as the USA had to settle for silver medals. At the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the 53-year-old man failed to guide his team past Ghana in the quarter-finals. Bob Bradley will not be given a second World Cup campaign chance.
