UEFA Women’s Champions League action is back with the quarterfinal second legs, including a clash between VfL Wolfsburg and Chelsea that ATA Football will stream live for free in the USA, Canada and Brazil.

Three of the four Women’s Champions League return leg fixtures will be played as planned. However, the second leg game between French giants Olympique Lyonnais and Paris Saint-Germain, which was set to be played on Wednesday, was postponed to a later date due to positive COVID-19 test results in the Lyon squad.

Learn what happened in their first leg fixtures and what to expect from each team in their deciding games on Wednesday and Thursday.

VfL Wolfsburg (1) vs. (2) Chelsea on Wednesday at 8 a.m. ET

German champions Wolfsburg will host English champions Chelsea on Wednesday and the game will be streamed live by ATA Football for free in the USA, Brazil and Canada.

The first leg saw the German giants dominate FA Women’s Super League leaders Chelsea throughout the game. Nonetheless, the She-Wolves were not able to capitalize their chances and Emma Hayes’ Blues punished them with their deadly counterattack strategy. Australia’s Sam Kerr opened the scoring in the 55th minute and ex She-Wolf Pernille Harder doubled the lead in the 66th minute. However, centerback Dominique Janssen scored an important away goal from the penalty spot, keeping Wolfsburg’s hopes of making it to the UWCL semifinals alive.

In the end, Wolfsburg outshot Chelsea 22 shots to six. Chelsea’s goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger was the player of the match after a heroic performance. For this reason, Hayes said that Berger is the best goalkeeper in the world.

The two sides will enter the game at Ferenc Szusza Stadium in Budapest after league wins on the weekend. The 2020 UWCL runners-up defeated Sand 3-1 away from home and Chelsea swept Aston Villa 2-0 at home.

Manchester City (0) vs. (3) Barcelona on Wednesday at 11 a.m. ET

Barcelona’s league and UCWL undefeated streak this season was extended to 26 wins in the weekend after a 4-0 away win over Sevilla. Additionally, Barca Femeni has a +118-goal differential.

Manchester City became one of Barcelona’s victims last week in Monza, Italy, suffering a 3-0 away loss – Man City’s worst-ever loss in its UWCL history. Nigerian forward Asisat Oshoala opened the scoring in the first half, followed by a penalty conversion by Spain’s Mariona Caldentey early in the second half. Thirty-year-old forward Jennifer Hermoso sealed the deal with a goal in the dying minutes of the game, making her the top scorer of the UWCL knockout phase with five goals.

Manchester City and Barcelona will meet on Wednesday at Academy Stadium in Manchester to play their second leg. The Sky Blue will have to deal the Blaugranes a huge blow at home to qualify to the semifinals. No team has scored more than one goal against Barcelona this season.

Rosengard (0) vs. (3) Bayern Munich on Thursday at 1 p.m. ET

Bayern dominated Swedish side Rosengard in the first leg of the quarterfinal tie and won 3-0. Goals from Bayern’s Linda Dallmann, Klara Buhl and Lineth Beerensteyn separated the two sides. The German giants lead the Frauen Bundesliga and are undefeated this season with 26 wins in all competitions.

On the other hand, Rosengard is coming off a 3-3 draw in the final group stage game of the Swedish Cup against Kristianstads DFF, finishing at the top of the table and proceeding to the semifinals. However, the Damallsvenskan side will have to produce a miracle on Thursday and overcome a three-goal deficit at home.

Rosengard will host Bayern Munich in Malmo on Thursday, April 1, at 1 p.m. ET for the second leg.
