The Blues and the Dragons will clash against each other in the continental competition, but that not be the only item in their agenda.

Chelsea seem to have found the way to fly under Thomas Tuchel, and with one more season right around the corner, the Blues have started preparing for what could be a busy transfer season.

One of the main areas of opportunity the Blues have identified in their current squad is the right flank, but they seem to have found the right man to help them in that department. The player in question has proven to be quite influential on that side of the pitch, and his transfer would not be as expensive as some could think. Moreover, the Blues will have a chance to watch him first-hand when they clash against Porto, his current team, in the UEFA Champions League.

The man we are talking about is none other than Mexican footballer Jesús Corona. The former Monterrey and FC Twente player has been labeled as the most expensive player in the Primeira Liga, where he has made a name for himself as quite a useful asset to his team.

Corona was key to Porto's Primeira Liga title last season, where he scored four goals but handed out a whopping 14 assists for the Dragons. Added to that, he was named Porto's MVP for last season. This year, Corona has chipped in with 3 goals and eleven assists in all comps for Sergio Conceicao's men.

"Tecatito" Corona has an exit clause of $35M, but the good news for Chelsea could come this summer, since a clause in Corona's deal would see his value drop to $23M in order to facilitate his departure to a bigger club. According to reports by The Sun and O Jogo, the Blues are interested in signing the player before his value increases, especially since both clubs are set to lock horns in the UEFA Champions League next month.

The player is getting ready to perform with Mexico in the International break, where El Tri will face Wales and Costa Rica in a brief European tour. If the transfer succeeds, Corona would become the second Mexican to sign for Chelsea after Ulises Dávila.
