The group stage did not bring the excitement we expected but the play-off campaign is where it gets interesting.
We now know the identify of the eight South American nations that have reach the Quarter-finals. Most were expected to reach this level, however no one expected Brazil and Argentina to be sweating it until the last match for play-off qualification.

The two teams (almost) everyone wants to see in the Final have reached the quarter-finals and will avoid each other until the Final if each team progresses. The other six teams are Colombia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and suprisingly with convincing displays Venezuela.

The first Quarter-Final will be Colombia vs Peru on July 16 at 3:00 pm ET.

The second Quarter-Final will be a South American Clasico! Argentina vs Uruguay on July 16 at 6:00 pm ET. Matches between these two neighbouring countries are always a highlight of any international competition.

Both these matches will be broadcast Live in the US on Univision, and online on Univision Deportes in spanish-language. You can log on to Youtube for the online in English language broadcast. Tune into ESPN Deportes Radio for spanish-language radio broadcasts.

The third Quarter-Final will be a repeat of the group stage as Brazil face Paraguay again. This match kicks off on July 17 @ 3:00 pm ET.
