This would make for a very interesting strike force at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza...

Romelu Lukaku has been enjoying a solid season in his sophomore term in Italy as Inter aim to win their first Scudetto since 2010.

With 19 goals in the league, he's still in contention to win the Capocannoniere, although he'll have some work to do to knock Cristiano Ronaldo, who has 23 so far, off his perch once Serie A resumes action next month.

Inter's strike force has plundered 65 goals so far this season, with Lukaku's strike partner, Lautaro Martinez also having a great campaign with 14 to his name. And manager Antonio Conte reportedly would like to add more options to his arsenal as he prepares to build a team that will be fully competitive on multiple fronts next season. With Alexis Sanchez now recovered from injury and Christian Eriksen having finally found his footing, Conte has plenty of choices, but clearly is still looking for more.

That's where Liverpool's Divock Origi comes into play and has caught the attention of Conte, as per sources from Italy. Despite being a very talented player - he became the youngest ever goal-scorer for Belgium at the 2014 World Cup - the now 25-year-old has unfortunately found it very difficult to get playing time this season. Due to Diogo Jota's arrival, Origi has been pushed to the side and has made less than ten appearances (with just two starts) as the Belgian has found it very difficult to dislodge the Portuguese international due to his strong showings for Jurgen Klopp's side.

As such, the former Lille man would definitely be open to a move, especially with a World Cup tournament looming on the horizon. Likewise, Liverpool are reportedly looking to sell as they are looking to splash the cash in the transfer market. And Inter are keen on adding some more offensive firepower to their ranks. Source claim that Origi will be available for the relatively bargain price of just £13 million, but the Nerazzurri might have to contend with Borussia Dortmund for his signature as die Schwarzgelben will need a replacement if Erling Haaland opts to leave for other pastures.
