The World Cup winner was in fine form as PSG moved back to top spot in the Ligue 1 table.

It was a good day at the office for PSG and Mauricio Pochettino as Les Parisiens battled to a 4-2 win over Lyon, and an especially good day for young star Kylian Mbappe.

The reigning champs were four goals to the good in under one hour, and although Lyon attempted to claw their way back into the match by grabbing two goals, it was only good enough to halve the deficit as the match ultimately finished in PSG's favor.

Coupled with a loss for Lille, this means that PSG now head into the international hiatus on top of the table thanks to their superior goal differential, and that makes for a very interesting showdown between Les Dogues and Les Parisiens in a mouth-watering showdown in April.

And it was a special day for Mbappe as he not only grabbed a brace, but has now hit a century (plus one) goals at just 22 years old. 84 of those have been for PSG, and 20 already so far this season.

With the young striker in the form he has been in, expect him to add more to that tally as PSG look to win not just the Ligue 1 title once again, but also finally end their long wait to get their hands on the Champions League.
