The coach left the futures of some of his players up in the air after dropping a two-goal lead against Dinamo Zagreb.

Tottenham Hotspur dropped a two-goal lead against Dinamo Zagreb and ended up being eliminated from the UEFA Europa League, and far from making excuses, a humble Jose Mourinho came clean about what happened to his team during the course of what turned out to be a disappointing game.

Speaking in the post-match press conference, Mourinho admitted that Dinamo Zagreb's intensity was enough to beat Tottenham's players, who failed to show the skills that have made them some of the top players in the world.

Later in the interview, Mourinho apologized for quite a poor performance while in Croatia, and vowed to try and turn things around for Spurs for the rest of the season, especially since they are currently out of European tournament spots.

Before the interview concluded, Mourinho refused to single out any of his players as culprits for this result. Nevertheless, he hinted that the end of the season could see a change of guard for Tottenham, which may also include some fan favorites.
