The Portuguese side made it to the next stage after scoring two away goals at Allianz Stadium despite losing the game.

Who said that miracles can't happen in the UEFA Champions League?

Today, Porto proved that nothing is impossible in the world of football, and even after playing with only ten men for over an hour, the current Primeira Liga champions eliminated Juventus from the most relevant club competition in the globe.

The Dragons made it to this clash with a 2-1 lead from the first leg, but a spot kick by Sergio Oliveira increased their chances of success. Federico Chiesa's brace during the first minutes of the second half gave Juventus some hope, especially after Mehdi Taremi's red card. Nevertheless, there were no more goals during the first 90 minutes.

Just when things seemed to be heading to a penalty shootout, Porto won a free kick near Juve's box. Oliveira took the ball and sent it to the back of the net thanks to some lousy defending by the wall (the ball made it past the wall through Cristiano Ronaldo's legs) and an even worse reaction by Szczesny, who was not able to hold on to the ball. Adrien Rabiot managed to level the game moments after that goal, but the bianconeri failed to score the goal that would have sent them to the Quarterfinals.

Now, Porto will have to wait ten more days to know the name of their rivals. Meanwhile, Juventus will have to wait for one more year to try and make ammends for two consecutive Round of 16 eliminations in the continental competition.
