Barcelona are apparently eyeing for the signature of Sergio Aguero but do they even need him?
Sergio Aguero is destined for a move away from Atletico Madrid this summer with Barcelona being reported to be keen admirers of the Argentinean. However, former Barca favorite Julio Salinas believes that the Catalans do not need a player of Aguero's caliber and claims that the Argentinean would be better off at Real Madrid.
"I think Barcelona will not sign the 'Kun' because they are not looking for a player of that profile, not looking for a striker. I think Aguero fits in better with Real Madrid."
Nonetheless, Salinas did suggest that Cesc Fabregas would be the perfect addition to a Barcelona squad that is brimming with talent. Anyhow, Salinas also added that Fabregas will have to compete from the base if indeed his dream move materializes.
"[Cesc] Fabregas is a signing desired by the whole organisation. Cesc would be a good signing. However rrom my point of view, he would have much to do because Thiago Alcantara is also in the squad, who is a great player with a huge future."
