Panama have never been an easy side to face but USA have escaped with victory in their last three Gold Cup encounters.
Julio Cesar Dely Valdes and his Panama team will be keen to avoid deja vu when they take on the USA tomorrow. Panama have suffered close defeats against the Americans in their past three Gold Cup encounters and Dely Valdes knows that there will be zero-tolerance over any mistakes they make against Bob Bradley's team.

"You can't make mistakes," Dely Valdes said. "You have to be very concentrated and very focused. You can't really give them a lot of space. You make errors against the U.S. and they make sure you will pay. So they're going to do everything they can to make sure they make the least amount of errors and come on top in the game."

Landon Donovan and Tim Howard are also expecting a tough match, with both individuals praising Panama's solidity as a team.

"They always give us a tough matchup," midfielder Landon Donovan said. "Athletically, they're challenging and they do a pretty good job tactically of making the game hard against us.

"They have a lot of experience. People forget how much experience this team has now. They've been basically the same team for five, six, seven, eight years. It's going to be a difficult game."

For Tim Howard, breaking them down will be the key aspect of USA's chances.

"They seem to want to be on the ball, want to tackle the ball," he said. "They're committed to be running for each other. They've made it tough for us in the past. We've had difficulty breaking them down. We're not [under] any illusions its going to be an easy game."
