Donovan is looking likely to start against the Canadians despite missing the friendly match against Spain in the weekend.
Good news has been delivered to all USA fans as Landon Donovan is expected to start against Canada tomorrow. Donovan missed the friendly defeat to Spain over the weekend but the sight of him working out with his teammates at the Detroit Lions training complex on Sunday definitely comes as a positive sign.

Prior to that, Donovan missed two days of training and now, the man himself has declared himself fit for tomorrow's opening clash against Canada.

"I was breathing pretty hard but I feel pretty good and would expect to be fine by Tuesday," Donovan told reporters after practice at Allen Park.

Meanwhile, Benny Feilhaber who scored in USA's 2-1 victory over Mexico during the Gold Cup in 2007 will miss the clash against Canada with an injury. His replacement will most likely be Alejandro Bedoya who featured against Spain on Saturday.
