Lionel Messi believes that the Champions League final prospect is pure privelege but that doesn't mean that there's added pressure.
Lionel Messi has been in explosive form throughout the season and is undoubtedly the best player in the world currently. For this fact alone, Saturday's task for Manchester United just got a step more difficult with the presence of the Messi-ah in an already perfect Barcelona line-up.
This edition of the Champions League final offers Messi a chance to take centre stage in Barca's bid to lift their second title in three years. Nevertheless, Messi stressed that there will be no added pressure when he gets ready to rumble United's defence this weekend.
"It's a privilege. It hasn't put any extra weight on my shoulders. I love seeing people enjoying themselves while watching me and my team-mates playing and to be able to win all these titles for them.
"I always take things easy - and I'm very relaxed about it because things have gone our way for a long time."
Messi has won almost everything that there is to be won as a Barcelona player but the Argentinean believes that his future only lies with no one else but the Catalans.
"My idea is to stay at Barcelona. It's true that in football you never know what is going to happen - one day you are here and two years later you are transferred [for example]. But as far I'm concerned I would like to play for Barcelona forever."
