Sunday brings another highly-anticipated Serie A clash, with second-placed AC Milan gearing up for a visit to fourth-placed Roma for their 2:45 p.m. ET clash. Given the table and the tightly-contested Scudetto race, this fixture could go a long way in deciding who lifts the title and who qualifies for Europe next season.

A string of poor results have seen the Rossoneri fall from the perch, with the Milan giants losing the top spot to bitter rivals Inter. Back-to-back defeats against Spezia and the Nerazzurri have seen Pioli's men fall four points behind the league leaders, with third-placed Juventus being only three points adrift.

Ibrahimovic and Co. recently sealed their progression to the UEFA Europa League round of 16 where they will face Premier League giants Man United. The Italians overcame a tough Crvena Zvezda side but it should be noted that AC Milan failed to beat them in either of the two legs, instead qualifying courtesy of the away-goal rule.

In fact, the Rossoneri haven't won any of their last four fixtures, losing two and drawing two. In their last eight outings, Pioli's men have picked up only two victories, which explains their drop. They cannot afford to slip up anymore, with the San Siro outfit set to face Udinese, Napoli, and Man Utd across two legs between now and March 18.

However, victory isn't only crucial for Milan as Roma are fighting a tight battle to qualify for the UEFA Champions League and climb up in the title race. In fact, the home side could move within two points of Ibrahimovic and Co. should they triumph. No team have picked up more points at home in Serie A this season than the Giallorossi, proving that Pioli's men will be in for a rough time.

Roma: Edin Dzeko misses this clash due to a groin injury, with Mayoral expected to deputize. Zaniolo and Santon are yet to return, meaning they remain on the sidelines alongside Ibanez and Smalling.

AC Milan: Ismael Bennacer and Mario Mandzukic are unlikely to feature. Rafael Leao is expected to make way for Zlatan Ibrahimovic despite the Swede's recent dip in form.
