The second most relevant club competition in Europe will begin on Thursday. Let's have a look at the matches that will take place this week.

With the winter break over, the 2020-21 UEFA Europa League will resume with some interesting games for fans to witness on Thursday.

The effects of the coronavirus pandemic will still be felt on this competition, as travel restrictions issued by some countries may see some of the games being played at neutral venues.

As usual, teams from Spain and England have to be considered the favorites to win the competition. This year, the teams from La Liga fighting for the title will be Villarreal, Granada, and Real Sociedad. The competition from Premier League teams will include Manchester United, Leicester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal.

As usual, most of the games will kick off at two different times. The first batch, which will feature nine games, will be played by teams such as AC Milan, PSV Eindhoven, and tournament heavyweights Real Sociedad facing Manchester United.

As for the second batch of seven games, the most interesting game will feature Benfica and Arsenal. Other teams involved in this second batch of games will be Roma, Tottenham Hotspur, Ajax, and Napoli.
