The Brazilian star picked up a nasty injury against Caen on Wednesday evening. His presence in the return leg is also doubtful.

Neymar's hoodoo when it comes to Round of 16 games in the UEFA Champions League is back, as the Brazilian ace will not make the trip to Barcelona and face his former side. The reason? Neymar has been ruled out for a month due to two nasty tackles against Caen, which took a toll on his left leg.

The highly-anticipated game between Los Blaugranas and Les Parisiens is set to take place on Tuesday, and Neymar's injury will leave the French side without their leader. Added to Neymar's absence, coach Mauricio Pochettino will have to prepare this game without Angel Di Maria, who was also ruled out after picking up an injury last weekend.

The main problem for PSG is that Neymar could not be available for the return leg, as he would have only rested for a week before the second leg takes place at Parc Des Princes.

Once the news broke out, Neymar shared his thoughts on social media.

"The sadness is great, the pain is immense and the crying is constant. Once again I will stop for a while to do what I love most in life, which is playing football. Sometimes I feel uncomfortable because of my style of play, because I dribble and end up being beaten constantly, I don't know if the problem is me or what I do on the pitch ... it really saddens me. It makes me too sad to hear from a player, coach, commentator or the fuck at 4 "he really has to be beaten","he is always diving","crybaby", "spoiled" and etc ...

Honestly it saddens me and I don't know how long I can take it, I just want to be happy playing football. THAT'S IT!"
